You are entering the last quarter of the year and just as a refresher, let’s review the healthy eating regime. Let’s get you entering into the final quarter strong and prepared for the holiday season. Remember, healthy eating is a lifestyle, not just a period of time to try out. 

Numerous health conditions can occur when one is not eating healthy. 

Here’s to ending the last quarter of this year achieving your health and life goals. 

Try focusing on each of the following for a week and then add in the next step until it all becomes second nature to you.

  • Eat Organic Produce for Fruits and Vegetables
  • Eat Low-Mercury Wild Fish
  • Eat Free-Range or Organic Eggs, Poultry, Grass-fed-finished meat
  • Eat a Healthy Breakfast
  • Do Eat Lunch, especially if you tend to ‘graze’ and ‘snack’ on chips, cookies, and crackers in the afternoon. Instead, have a protein shake or eat a balanced meal but do not skip meals
  • Eat a Balanced Dinner and then stop eating after dinner
  • Do not drink juice or empty-nutrient, high-calorie beverages
  • Drink purified water
  • Limit your sugar intake to no more than 21 grams of sugar daily
