Paleo is the new rave these days and for good reason!
Here’s a quick recipe for Paleo chips:
Ingredients you will need for recipe:
1 cup almond flour
1 egg white (substitute with one tablespoon of finely grounded flax seeds & three tablespoons of water, if you are vegetarian)
1/2 tsp sea salt
1/2 tsp (Simply Organic or 365 Organic brand) chili powder
1/2 tsp (Simply Organic or 365 Organic brand) garlic powder
1/4 tsp (Simply Organic or 365 Organic brand) onion powder
1/4 tsp (Simply Organic or 365 Organic brand) paprika
Directions
Preheat oven to 325 degrees F.
In glass bowl, combine all of the ingredients together until they form an even ‘dough’.
Roll out ‘dough’ on (If You Care parchment paper which is made from unbleached totally chlorine-free (TCF) greaseproof paper), as thinly as possible. Cut the dough into desired shapes for chips.
Move the dough, with the (If You Care) parchment paper, onto a (healthy) baking sheet.
Bake for 12 to 15 minutes (all depends on one’s stove), until golden brown. Remove from the oven and let cool 5 minutes.
Use a spatula to remove the chips.
Serve with homemade guacamole (add a splash of Bragg’s Apple Cider Vinegar for a twist!).
