Be Happy Longer

Total wellness includes your mind, body, and spirit. Happiness influences your mindset, positive emotions, and outcome. Research from the University of Minnesota & Texas A&M University explored whether the way people set their goals influences how much happiness they gain from that experience.

Setting specific goals that are concrete and easy to measure are going to be easier achieved as opposed to setting general goals that may be harder to quantify and attain. Goal setting may be useful for work, exercise, health and weight loss. Setting a ‘happiness’ goal can leave a longer-lasting positive emotional imprint.

By making small changes in our thinking patterns it will help us experience more joy. Who doesn’t want more joy?
