Generally not healthy because of the:

–> Refined carbohydrates
–> Saturated fats
–> Amount of cheese
–> Sodium content
–> …and depending on the type of crust, and the toppings used…

pizza can be a diet disaster! 😱

Here’s a spoiler nutritional alert: On average, a large slice of pepperoni pizza contains 311 calories, 13.5 grams of total fat (5.5 grams saturated), and 720 milligrams of sodium. And that’s just for one slice, which almost never happens!

Look at the infographic to understand what happens to your body after you eat that one slice of pizza, so just multiple it, if you are eating more than one slice!

The regular or 'typical' pizza causes inflammation and really is aging to your skin, body and mind!

Here's a healthy and delicious way to enjoy pizza and make it anti-inflammatory & healthy 👍

Two of my favorite crusts are available at Whole Foods and the rest can be from your garden like the tomatoes 🍅, oregano 🌿, & basil 🌿. Add some spinach, drizzle some olive oil and you're done. You could always add Daiya 'cheese' and tomato sauce if you want.
